La cabane dans les bois

I did not want to get out of bed this morning. Even though I didn’t sleep too late, I am still super tired.  Business class was interesting as always, though it starting pouring half way in. It rained the rest of the class and during all of lunch. So we had to walk in the rain to get food, and then bring it back to the class. After we ate, Harish pulled up Russell Peters’ clips on YouTube and we watched them until it was time for…. FRENCH CULTURE CLASS! The excitement is just to throw you off… it’s actually extremely boring.

I can’t tell you what our teacher talked about, but I heard him mention presidents from the fifth period..whatever that means. I swear he has “Death by Powerpoint” right on point. Since nobody could focus, we all got on Skype and started a group conversation between AJ, Isabella, Jackson, Harish, Lidia, Jean and I. I must admit, we were very entertained by our conversation and even played a few games. At one point, we all started giggling simultaneously and I’m pretty sure the teacher realized we were not paying attention. He still continued in his same monotonous voice, just reading his slides.

After class, we went to the super market to replace our breakfast food. I still can’t believe our host family hasn’t supplied us with breakfast, especially since it’s written in the contract. For a strict family, they do a poor job of sticking to the contract. One, they have a cat. Two, they smoke. Three, they don’t provide breakfast. Yet they still expect me not to shower after 8:30 pm. We’ll see about that.  The breakfast food they offer is in a small drawer in the kitchen; it has dry milk, coffee, toast crackers, and jam. The contract lists a number of breakfast items they are required to offer, including cereal and milk. I figured that if they saw me buying my own breakfast food, they would realize that is what I like, and replace it for me when it runs out. This is not the case however. Plus they have better breakfast food for themselves, and I’m pretty sure someone has been eating my “Frosties.”

Anyhow, we met for dinner at Cite Universitaire at 6:30. After that, me and Harish headed to the movie theaters. We wanted to watch The Avengers again but it was only in 3D at like 10:00 pm. So we opted for Cabin in the Woods. **Spoiler Alert*** It was awful! Seriously though, worst movie ever! The only good part about it was that I got to look at Chris Hemsworth and Jesse Williams.
